Ballard Book Crawl

Join Ballard Books, The Ink Drinker, Secret Garden, Swoon City, and Twice Sold Tales for a weekend of bookish fun in Ballard. Visit each of the stores during the weekend for a chance to win over $300 in prizes. 

Each bookstore will be hosting a bonus bookish event to add some flavor to the weekend: 

• Ballard Books will have a 20% store-wide sale
• The Ink Drinker will offer never-before-seen swag and be hosting a free reading from a Portland-based novelist Saturday evening.
• At Secret Garden get a free ARC with minimum purchase (while daily allotted supplies last) 
• At Swoon City, grab a new book and bedazzle it for free
• Get a discount on Banned Books over at Twice Sold Tales 

Over the past three years, Ballard has blossomed into a book lover’s paradise. Offering everything from general interest, to secondhand, to antiquarian, and most recently romance books and a book-themed bistro. 

The Details: 

From Friday, May 22nd through Sunday, May 24th, visit all five of the following locations and get a stamp. Turn in your completed passport for a chance to win over $300 worth of prizes including a grand prize of $150 in gift cards, two individuals will win a ticket to the Ballard Cocktail Trail (worth $110), five totes, and each person that completes the full passport will receive a commemorative bookmark  

• Ballard Books, 5416 20th Ave NW, Wednesday-Saturday 12-6.  Sunday 11-4pm
• The Ink Drinker, 2050 NW Market Street, Friday from 4pm to 10pm, Saturday 3pm to 11pm, Sunday 2pm to 8pm. 
• Secret Garden, 2214 NW Market Street, Mon-Fri 10-7pm, Sat 10-6 and Sun 10-5pm
• Swoon City, 1716 NW Market St, Wednesday - Friday 11am - 5:30 pm, Saturday 10am - 6 pm, Sunday 10 am - 5 pm
