Embroidery Class: Witchy Sigils

Sigils are a simple and creative way to bring more intention into your witchcraft practice. Learn about sigils, past and present, and the practice of sigil-making in this 2.5 hour hands-on witchy stitching workshop. Erin will lead participants to formulate an intention, demonstrate different ways to create sigils unique to them, and then embroider both a pocket sigil and an embroidered wall hanging to take home.
Materials provided:
- fabric
- embroidery hoop
- embroidery needles & thread
This class will take place at Monster. Our address is 1716 NW Market Street, Seattle, WA 98107. It's at the intersection of 17th and NW Market Street - kitty corner from Mighty-O Donuts.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before class begins.
If you cannot attend class for any reason, we will offer an exchange to another class currently on our schedule up to 48 hours before the class. After that time, no refunds or exchanges are issued out of respect for our teachers who purchase and prepare supplies based on the number of attendees.
Our current Covid protocol is that anyone attending an event can email us at Info@monstermonster.shop to let us know they prefer that people wear masks up to 72 hours before the event begins. Your request is anonymous to all the other participants.
Attendees will receive an email before the class to let them know If we will be requiring masks. We have masks available at our front desk if you don't have one handy.
About Your Teacher
Erin Eggenburg is a fiber witch and maker who resides in Portland, OR with her 2 black cats. She is the owner of wrenbirdarts, an online mending and embroidery supply shop. Erin is the author of The Mending Directory, a book on visible mending and darning. Erin teaches a variety of visible mending and embroidery classes regularly.
